We took part in the Manly Ocean Care day late last year.  It was a great success – see some photos of ferry drivers and the number of disposable cups collected that day.  Its a great example of the number of disposables used by ferry commuters each day.

Our UK team spent a gruelling three days at Coffee Culture in London last week and met anyone who’s anyone in the world of coffee – plus someone sporting some very handsome candystripes.

We just got news of a great story about the contribution of disposable cups to landfill.  Thanks Peoples Coffee for your endorsement of the mighty KeepCup.

 Its stuff I should know but it was put so succinctly.  Keep green waste, paper and food waste out of landfill as it is anaerobic and won’t break down.  I’ve been a bit slack with my composting lately – back on the job.  I dreaming of a mulcher for my garden clippings and green waste but I can’t get that image in Fargo out of my mind…..

We will be selling the KeepCups this weekend at the Finders Keepers market in Sydney http://www.thefinderskeepers.com/ this Saturday and Sunday as well as the Manly Ocean Care Day on 6 December.
We will also be at the Federation Square Design markets on Sunday 6 December – a big weekend for the KeepCup. We’d love to see you there.

Well thanks to GMagazine we got a spot on Sunrise on Wednesday and things have been crazy since – good crazy.  Great crazy.
